Mantra Yoga 02

Mantra is sound vibration, which help to focus the mind during meditation. The word mantra means "thought expressed as sound". Mantras are energy-based sounds. Pronouncing a mantra creates a particular physical vibration in the form of sound that in turn produces various "energetic effects" in the physical and subtle body. Mantras are sacred syllables passed on from the great seers.

This will be a practical workshop exploring the many ways to practice Mantra:-

  • With asana (postures) and pranayama (breath)
  • In the chakras
  • Likhit japa (written mantra)
  • Using the mantras Om, Gayatri and Maha mrityunjaya
