Ayurveda clinics with Dr. Palitha Serasinghe

We are pleased that Dr Palitha is returning in January, July and September to hold clinics at Padmasambhava.

What an Ayurvedic Practitioner does (in brief)
An Ayurveda practitioner will asses Prakruti and Vikruti – your natural constitution and your current state of health. This involves taking a detailed case history and examining the body, paying attention to build, skin and hair type, temperature of the body, digestion and bowel function, all of which point to more profound aspects of the patients condition. Once the doshic balance has been diagnosed and the causes of imbalance have been established, treatment and lifestyle advice is given.

Workshops also presented by Dr. Palitha
This year Dr. Palitha was going to give two workshops at The National Botanic Gardens of Wales. The first Daily and Seasonal Routines in May has unfortunately been postponed as it clashed with the program in Mallorca. The second workshop Ayurveda Self Massage 04 will be held as planned in September

Presenter: Dr. Palitha Serasinghe graduated as a Physician of Ayurveda in 1982 from the Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, with first class honours, and has since then worked within the field of Ayurveda.
