Chakra Day 2014

An understanding of the chakras can be of help both in our yogic practice and the awakening of our inner potential. The day will introduce basic yoga philosophy, the nature of being and the attributes of the chakras. We will be practicing asana, pranayama and meditation.

Presenters: Padma - Padma practices and teaches Satyananda yoga. He is an experienced teacher of yoga asana, pranayama, and Hatha as well as Tantric meditation practice. He studied with Swami Pragyamurti in London and is a qualified teacher of the Bihar School of Yoga, Munger, India and an associate teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga. Padma has an interest in Indian philosophy as well as western metaphysics and quantum physics.
He is a passionate as well as experienced creator of Labyrinths, a form of Mandala, which he uses for walking meditation. His creative and intuitive ability enables him to teach with integrity, bringing a sense of security, balance and well-being into his classes and workshops.
